are you talking about the blower motor stuck at a certain speed or the temp coming out of the vents is stuck at a certain temp?

Sounds like one of the blend doors stuck and-or the actuator motor broke. The blend doors direct air flow thru the heater core and the evaporator as well as out the vents. They are controlled by small electric motors.

SOURCE: Lost the keys to a 2001 pontiac aztec. Don't have

the dealer should be able to make you a key, all you need is the vin number, they can make a key for it, as loong as the ignition in the van is the one that came with the van, if it was replaced then they cant make one, if you didnt by van new then just have key made its mostlikely its original one, hope this helps.

SOURCE: Hello I have a 2001

IF the smoke is truly white, it is likely a blown head gasket. If its consuming oil and/or purple ish smoke, its got bad rings. Either way, its a significant operation if you're not mechanically inclined.

The PCM is probably storing a B, C, or U code that your code reader doesn't read. Or, it's storing an enhanced P code. If the light goes on, trust me, there's a code stored. You need a professional level scan tool
