Question about 1995 Jaguar XJ6
My mom and I were at the car wash going through those drive in car washes and then our car just turned off. It shook a little before it cut off. What could possibly be wrong with it? The battery is not dead and we have gas in the car.
You got the wiring wet. Did they steam off the engine with a power washer? If so, they probably got the distributor wet and it won't fire the spark plugs. Have someone look it over and see if that's what happened. It may also be a fuse that got water-logged. You can sometimes use WD-40 to spray into the wet area to remove the water and get it going again.
