Question about 2002 Chevrolet Blazer

Intermitent starting problem

My 2002 trailblazer starts intermitently. The fuel pump was replaced November 19th 2008. It ran for three weeks and then the same problem occurred. The throttle body assembly was replaced because of a p1523 code which is throttle malfunction. A garage has been looking at it but couldn't find anything wrong with it. I went out today to start it and guess what..it doesn't start. Can you give me some ideas of what could be the problem?

I have a intermitent starting problem on a 2002 1.6hl siena

long shot, but it sounds like your fuel system is losing pressure and having a hard time to pick it back up. I would have a pressure test done and go from there. Your fuel pump may be getting weak, or you could have a leak of some sort within the fuel system Hope this helps

Van starting is intermitent. Has new battery, turns over fine, not getting spark or fuel.

You can check for spark by taking off one of the spark plug wires and seeing if it will spark to the chasis ground.

To check for fuel, disconnect the fuel filter and see if fuel is being pumped or not. If you haven't replaced your fuel filter in some time, I would start there.

Intermitent problem can be cause by bad contacts or loose connection. Try replacing the fuel pump relay, starting relay, and the main engine relay, but before you do this see if there any loose connectors by wiggling the wires while the engine is running. If you wiggled the bad ones the engine would die off.

Truck starts and then stops cahange relays for fuel pump then its works hen it doesn't sart again then i would hi under it then works again

if the fuel pump has never been replaced before, the intermitent problem is probably caused by a worn brush in the fuel pump. Try to find a loose connection first before replacing the pump.
