That clink noise you get is from a relay which has something going wrong. try to find which one is,to replace it and see the difference.

This sound is the relay, Is the battery new if more than 1 and 1/2 yrs. you need to replace your battery.
Is your engine cranking when start, if not, the battery need to be replace.

That test with the Hydrometer of battery specific gravity will indicate the state of charge, the problem is this, the battery posts that connect to the cells inside the newer sealed batteries burn through, so although the battery is charged there is no way to deliver the power to the car, that is why a load test is the only true test of battery performance. Most auto parts stores do this test for free.

If you have not done so pull the engine codes or have someone do it.
The codes will give you a good idea where to start otherwise the first
place I would check is replacing the Crankshaft Position sensor. This is
not only very common for them to fail but I have 1994 Laredo and 1996
Laredo and both had the same trouble at exactly the same time. In addition I replaced the Intake Air Temp sensor, coolant temp sensor and idle air control valve on the 1994. The clicking is probably relays and is more than likely normal.
Starter motor solenoid replaced or replace bushes.
the clicking that you hear is coming from the starter relay. sounds like your ignition starter switch or ignition lock cylinder is bad.
