CANNOT RAISE CAR, GET ICON INDICATING PROBLEM

When I try to raise the level I get a icon indicating that raising it was not successful. When I have it on level three, often it lowers itself to level one; then I cannot raise it again.

Can't find switch to raise shocks

yes, ride control, or whatever its called, ride level control. Your car has a small air compressor mounted, that uses air to maintain vehicle height, system has been around since about the early 90's.

How do you get to the cabin air filter

Open the hood. Look on the passenger's side. There should be a removable black plastic door with a raised icon indicating the cabin filter. If I;ve helped, please rate my assistance and leave a testimonial.

Soon as i turn on my heat my cooling fans come on first

It sounds like you do need a thermostat with your heat shut off and the gauge will raise a little then the car doesn't have that heat drawn from it indicating that you most likely do need a thermostat. As far as the fans coming on immediatly that could be a different problem it is most likely the coolant temperature sensor that tells the fan's when to come on. If this sensor says the coolant is hot the fans will come on immediatly. These are seperate problems as the coolant temperature sensor does not have anything to do with the cabin heating system. You should first check the level of your coolant is full, This could also cause your cabin heating system to perform poorly, and may have adverse effects to the engine cooling system. (fans)

Driver side passenger window won't raise back up

It is either the motor of the switch. Operate the switch while listening where the sound is coming from in the door. Then while you are trying to raise the window, hit the interior door panel with some force, not enough to break anything, but hard enough to contact the motor. If it is binding it should allow the window to raise. If it is trying to raise it is probably the motor.

If you can check actual values whilst engine is idling, air mass should be around 18kg. The symptoms you mention indicate a maf sensor is at fault, these are prone to failing and can cost around £300 from porsche
