Question about 1993 Chevrolet C1500
Well it all started about a week ago (i have only had the truck 2 weeks) when i was driving down the road in 4th or 5th gear (it has happened in both gears) going aprox. 45 mph and it syarted cutting out kinda like i was running out of gas, and someone changed all of my gauges over to digital so i thought ok the gauge might be off but i made it to a gas station and filled it up and it only took $22.00 well when i got the tuck i filled it up and it took $32.00 so i knew that couldn't have been the problem. i got to where i was going about 5 miles from there and it didn't do it the rest of the way there or back. Then yesterday i was going to pay my truck payment which was aprox. 60 miles away from my house and about half way there it started doing it again and bad in 5th gear. while it was cutting out it was kinda this popping sound was coming from i guess my exaust kinda like it is trying to back fire but don't get me to lying please someone try to help me
Maybe, Temp sensor on the motor. The vehicle has 2 temp. sensors. One on motor and one on or near radiator.
