Question about 1993 Jeep Grand Wagoneer
Flash to pass switch activates alarm system. Jeep won't start. Interior lights are flickering on and off while driving. 10 minutes after turning off Jeep alarm system activates without setting alarm manually. Doors are unlocked. Transmitter would shut it off only to have it come back on 10 minutes later. Anything? We had to pull the battery cables. Thanks.
I had this problem with my jeep, I had to have it towed home because the security would not let me start the car. I immediately jumped on my PC and found the solution. "Press your lock button, then go to the rear of your truck & unlock the hatch with your key".. You have to unlock THAT door with your key in order for it to shut off. Hope this was helpful, worked for me!

You might try locking all the doors from the inside and then closing them all. Then try unlocking the car with the key itself (NOT THE FOB) manualy. Try a combination of these things, like maybe locking it manualy with the key itself too. Usualy some sort of locking or unlocking manualy with the key will reset the system. Its almost luike proving to the car that you are who you say you are.
