Question about 2001 Chevrolet Blazer
2001 blazer did not overheat, I did not have the heat on, windows started to fog on the inside and the cab started to smell like antifreeze. I waited till the next morning and looked at the coolant level in the radiator. It was low, filled it and the overflow, started the truck, no leaks that I could see. Turned the defroster on and smoke and the antifreeze smell came out of the vents to fill the cab. Still no fluid leaking outside or inside the cab. We are thinking it is the heater core but there is no visible fluid leaking. I don't know what to fix, help???
You have a coolant leak most likely in the heater core. Try disconnecting your heater hoses and coupling them together, then running the engine to see if the leak goes away. If it does, I would have the heater core replaced.
