Question about 1989 Peugeot 405
I have front and rear electric windows on my 306 gti6 1998 and none of them a currently working i've checked the fuses which seem fine
any help would be appreciated
It sounds like a power supply problem. I can't see all 4 motors broken.
First how does the switch "feel" No buttons loose?
Does it illuminate when you switch sidelights on?
If that's ok
I would gain access to the master switch on the drivers door.
I would think you have to remove the door panel and armrest I can't remember for sure, but it doesn't take a lot .
Check and make sure all the multiplugs are connected first of all.
Make sure all the terminals in the plugs are fully "home"
If there is nothing obvious i would follow the loom to where it exits the door and goes back into the car and check for damage.
Check for ANY other electrical equipment not working, if so go back to your handbook and re-check which fuse it goes through.
Also, if this problem has occurred after a recent repair, I suggest you return to the repairer.

Check the rubber tube which goes between the drivers door and the lower 'A' pillar, this contains wires which control windows, central locking etc. and are prone to the wires breaking inside due to the opening and closing of the door. often this needs replacing and can be a source of quite a few electrical niggles.

One more thing you can check is if the switches dont work, Peugeots have that problem that the switches loose connection in the contact point inside the switches and replacement is nessesary.
It can also be the wiring connection socket located under the middle console that has in some way been pulled apart that causes the missing connection. Its rare that the window motors die and 100% not them all, so the problem is not in the doors, thou it can be the wiring between the doors and the body that causes the problem because they are constructed wrong, making the wires brake.
