Use a flashlight and follow the brake pedal all the way up. There is a tab that should hold a grommet or a (imagine a flathead plastic nail)=(bodygrommet Usually black plastic) I found it missing so I substittuted by slipping one in to form a stopp for the little spring loaded pus.h button of the brake switch. I used a (9/16)to unloose the brake light switch nut and turned it untill the button rested on the stop good. The button extends to (on) as the pedal moves away. OFF the pedal pushes the button in. It will work. Little button in light comes OFF. It Needed a surfce to contact the little button an then I turned the whole switch untill the distance insured contact.,but would come out with the sligthest tap on the brake. Read and reRead this it is tried & true.Dollarnaqrtr.

I have a 1993 honda accord i just recently lost my brake lights i put in a new brake light switch and all of my brake lights started working except my right brake lights? please help

If you don't have power to the right brake light when the switch is engaged, I would check the turn signal switch. On some models the brake circuit goes thru the turn signal switch. Also be sure and check the ground connection on the bulb socket.

1993 Honda accord EX no brake lights

This sounds like Brake Light Switch, can be found at any local parts store, for under $15 and easy enough to replace. The switch is located under the brake pedal and depresses when you hit the brakes, causing the brake lights to turn on. Replacing this is cheap and easy.

The battery bulb must be blown out on my 1993 honda accord because it's not coming on when i turn on my car! Rather than tearing my dashboard apart to replace it,Will this cause my alternator not to...

Be sure that Fuse #2 (15 amps) is good. The WHITE/BLUE wire at the alt should have 12 v and when you ground that wire the light should come on. If that checks out good, check the volotage at the battery with engine running, it should be above 13 v, if not the alt is not charging. replace the alternator.

1993 honda accord brake lights won't go off

HI, this will be a damaged brake switch. it should be replaced, asap. Once replaced, the lights will operate correctly.

The switch is located under the driver side dash, near the brake peddle arm.

Brake Lights out on 1991 Honda Accord

After you have checked the fuseand the bulb connection, you may also want to check the brake switch located at top of the brake padel under the dashboard. Once you push the brake padel, the switch will trigger and the brake light will be on. Use simple 12 volt test pen or voltmeter to test the current supply. Enjoy it.

Open the hood and look near the firewall on the drivers side. You will see the black rubber cap on a plastic resevoir. There is a switch that turns on when the fluid level gets low. This may be your issue.
