That is battery not charging and traction control failure on saab 93 tid

Hi there:First I suggest recharge battery, start car, check voltage across battery should be around 14.5, if not alternators gone.
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

Saab 93 1.9 tid warning battery not charging car died whilst driving charged battery at home car now starting lights all out is this battery prob or alternator?

The easiest way to check is with the car running, disconnect the positve side of the battery, if the car dies, then it is the altenator, if the car keeps running then it is the battery. If you have a volt ohm meter, check the chrge going to the battery you should get between 12 and 14 volts if it is lower than 12 you have an altenator issue. the altenator should always produce enough to charge the battery and run the car at the same time, if not then the battery wears down.

2005 saab 93 tid sport very bad brake squeal after pads and disks replaced 6 weeks ago

You can try using anti squeal on the pads. This works in some cases.Another area to check is the rotors for truness. Also all brake hardware and make sure the caliper moves freely on it's slides. Squeal is caused by the pads vibrating. Hope this helps solve your problem.

Saab 93 diesel not starting

Being a diesel, Your car has Glowplugs in it, no sparkplugs, when you turn the key on, you need to let it sit for at least ten seconds so your glowplugs can warm, that would solve your cranking issue, as far as the dash freakout you had, most likely it was error in your ECU, and having a dead battery means something is either left on or there is a ground somewhere in your wiring, If you have alarm system equipped it could be a wire on that or a number of other things, not a pro at Saab by far but im relating to problems i have had with Ford. Not sure if it works on Saab but its worth a try, Hold your Trip Meter down and turn ignition to start while holding, the background should come up with a bunch of number, and you yank the Book out of the glovebox and correlate info from your dash to whats written in the manual! Hope i shed some light.

SAAB 2002 93 automatic gear stuck

you have to push your shift override button? Your cable that runs from your ignition/steering column to your shift knob could be worn and therefore loose not allowing the car the be shifted out of park (as if your key weren't in the ignition). Hope this helps
