My 1988 pontiac grand am is not firing or getting fuel to the injector . what is wrong?

To all those who may have this problem it was the crank shaft sensor and we replaced it and it is now working

could be bad power wiring to fault injector or injector itself

The regulator may have locked up preventing anything to pass. It could also be a clogged filter. Those are two of the biggest reasons why fuel wont get to the injectors.

It depends on the # 1 ijector to fire then the rest follow,i u have test for injectors teat the 3 1 TO SEE WORKING PROPERLY,WHAT ELSE SOMETIMES ON GRANDAMS THE INGNITION SWITCH GOES OUT....

2.8l were known for fuel injectors, vacuum leaks up by the throttle body, and there is also the idle speed control, but sounds like injectors or vacuum, double check your wires on the coils too

If its injection you need to test light injector leads and see if you are getting fire there. There also should be fuses for the injectors too, there is a fuse box under hood wear them fuses are located.

more than likely ur injectors are malfauctioning run some chevron techron injector hope theyre not completely bad
