It could be something to do with the rack n pinion. I also own a 2004 chevy malibu classic and I have had to change the "steering rack." Now dont hold me to that, but with a little more info on how the car is acting and driving I may be able to further assist this problem. Hope this helps. Good luck
well the chirp sounds like a belt problem but the light click is usualy the lifters try using a higher grade of gas,and hope its not a berring going in the water pump.
Check for clearance between the rotor and the caliper,and caliper to the rim.Make sure one ,or more of the brake pads where not accidently put on backwards,with the metal on the rotor,it happens sometimes.
here a while back there was a recall for the blinker problem, call a chevy garage and see if they can still help you! the blinker unit is going bad. they should run your vehicle vin number to find out.
