A cheap and nasty way to make it work is to by pass pressure switch in the engine bay, your aircon has shut itself down to protect itself.the switch thats responsible for that is either on the air con compressor with two wires plugged into it or close to the reciever/drier, join the wires together and the air con switch and associated parts will work again. This is a short term fix as the switch is there to tell you that the aircon pressure is too low and ultimately it will need recharging.

Sorry thought your air con had shut down.Unsure with your model however the switch regulates how much power the fan gets in whatever position its in or a voltage regulator/resistor,Some one will have to test wether the output from the back of the switch is working. You must have power at the switch as it works on 4 so if the other positions have no power then the switch is probably faulty. If your able to unplug without removing the switch,go to a car wrecker etc and plug in to test without buying another switch to confirm.Hope this is a little more helpful and hope you get it sorted.

I had this same problem. I removed the aircon controller from the dash and found two dry solder joints on the back of the main circuit board. I resoldered these and it fixed the problem.

Check for collapsing radiator hose on suction side of waterpump when motor revs raised above idle.
Check collant resevoir pressure cap is serviceable,
Check coolant system is properly filled - carry out any bleed off procedure specified to clear any air locks.
Check condition of radiator core:-
1) for blockage of air flow to (bugs/grass etc),
2) and internal blockage to coolant flow,

Replace the thermostat, if all above ok.
