Question about 2000 GMC Sonoma Extended Cab
2000 sonoma 4 cyl two wheel drive. engine won't start makes a winding noise. had starter checked it passed noticed a loose post on solenoid.
Thought maybe timing belt but learned that these come with w timing chain. engine has 159,000 miles mostly highway.Haven't had any problems until now. I noticed in the fuse box there is a large square fuse labeled starter could that be the problem?
Maybe that could be check for that fuse if it is busted.if your starter will crank and still the engine will not start then check if there is current coming from your high tension wire of your distributor assembly.if there is no current check for the connection or fuses.
