Question about 1995 Toyota 4Runner
The vechicle just died in route to the destination. After towing it home we replaced the ignition module, the distributor and the mass air flow sensor. There is no spark to the #2 spark plug. The coil checks out resistance wise. having trouble finding a decent wiring diagram to continue troubleshooting.
The most common reason to blow the 15 amp EFI fuse is moisture/rust on top of the fuel tank. This condition shorts out the power going to the fuel pump; blows the fuse. Take a look at the top of the fuel tank, you will see what I mean. Very, VERY common issue. If it is really rusty, you will need to replace the top bracket of the fuel tank; it holds the power wiring and the fuel pump inside the tank.
