Per your description, it sounds like you have a right front strut mount worn out or broken. I would check and replace both if it appears one or the other is damaged.
Have the steering gearbox checked. If fluid loss was severe. Wear in steering box causes excessive play in steering controls. Take on one concern at a time. They do not seem to be related
