Hi, I have replaced new water pump, replace new thermostat, found out there was no thermostat, guess the mechanic in Auckland let it run without thermostat. Radiator flushed, filled up with green (ready to add) coolant, problem still not solve. Next thing to check or replace is radiator cap and the fan. Thank You !

Also know as steamers .... Rads Block very quickly because of no Antifreeze in the water cooling circuit only needs a one to five tubes blocked in the rad core to induce over heating .... Glycol in the coolant also make the cooling more efficient and stops bi metal corrosion which in turn blocks the rad .... You only have to see the blocked rads at Smash Palace LOL 20 over heats plus per week in peak winter and summer over heats season .. the issue is more the rad design enough to cool when every thing is good but not when blocked .... Same action on the silica Terraces in thermal areas i.e. cooling fluid deposits solution chemicals in the rad tubes

The impellors in the water pump are prone to corrosion, especially if no or incorrect radiator additives have been used .this will cause water to stay in motor & boil whilst the water in the radiator stays cold because it cannot circulate.try flushing radiator ,installing a new thermostat (which is more than likely not opening )& radiator cap, refil with correct additive,.if the car still over heats then you will need to replace the water pump.bugger!!

There may be more to it.. Transmission- P.T.O(Front wheels)-Rear Differential(Rear wheels). Or may have Transmission-Transfercase drives front differential(Front wheels) and rear differential(Rear wheels). So if one was rebuilt there should still be another that is still the root of the problem. Find out what exactly was rebuilt.

Toyota estima 2.2 td 1992 water temperature high

I had same problem, but when I got to top of hill and sat idle for a bit, it would kick down ? replaced thermostat and still happened until I dumped radiator fix for temperature problems, overheating and such and has not happened since, no problems but even when I know the engine has to be overworked and should show hot, it never goes past middle. I'm not sure of name of liquid, got it from a car dealer, but it is basic about $18.
