Need radio code for 1999 honda civic ex, changed battery and radio won't work.

    my radio won't work without the code after I replaced the battery - the dealership will do it for $90.00 - Is it possible to buy a different radio so this won't happen again?

Call the dealer but you will probably have to remove the radio and get the numbers from the back of the radio for the dealer

Each code is specific to the radio, you have to disable the anti-theft feature before removing the battery. The code may be listed in your owner's manual, if not, call dealer for more info

Stereo error code


The code for the radio needs to be input. the radio must have been disconnected from the battery.
look for the code on a card in the glove box. if no card, then u have to pull the stereo out and get the serial # to the dealership.
