Front headlights only work on high beam

Where is the fuse for the headlights

Had the same problem, found out that the low beam bulbs (H7), were bad. I replaced them and they lasted for about 6 months average, purchased 2 on Ebay from China for about $7.00 for both, including shipping, cleaned the glass bulb with isopropal alcohol swab, used rubber gloves and did not touch the glass bulb. It has been about a year and have had no problems. I removed the black shroud cover for easy access to the 2 bolts that hold the front light assembly. The wire clip that holds the bulb in hindges on the screw side, so you don't have to remove the screw that holds the wire in place.

    Have a happy low beam

No power to right side (PS) headlight low beam plug socket, new bulb, fuse is good. High beam works, blinker works, park light works. just no low beam and doesn't register any voltage on volt meter.

check low beam fuse when switched on if it has voltage registering across the fuse ,if there is voltage across the low beam RHS fuse then it is possibly a pinched wire from the headlight running back towards inside of the car

if your vehicle has H4 headlight bulbs fitted you will find that they have both high & low beam filaments in them, what has most likely happened is that the low beam filaments are blown & the bulbs need to be replaced, also you may find that high & low beam circuits are on separate fuses, & also the front markers may have there own fuse check the fuses as well.......hope this helps......cheers.

is located under the dashboard on the driver's side. The fuse label is attached under the steering column. If something electrical in your vehicle stops working, check for a blown fuse first. AT FUSE TERMINAL #45 TO THE RIGHT OF THE HIGH BEAM RELAY AS YOU ARE LOOKING INTO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THERE IS A 15 AMP FUSE, PULL IT AND SEE IF IT IS BAD. IF IT IS REPLACE IT. THIS IS THE FUSE FOR THE HIGH BEAM RELAY.

Have you checked the light globes ? The globes have a filament for each of Low and High Beams and the Low Beam ones fail much sooner than the high. A bump as you describe may have been enough for the Low beam filaments to fail as the filaments get brittle through age.

Audi A4 2002 Low beams & Right front turn signal stopped working

For Audi A4 the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram.
First fuse on first row from left upper corner is Fuse Nr.20 = F20 (15A) - RH headlamp low beam, headlamp adjustment.
First fuse on second row from left upper corner is Fuse Nr.21 = F21 (15A) - LH headlamp low beam, headlamp adjustment.

Headlights wont work

Fuse 22 and fuse 23 are left and right low beam headlamp fuses located in the PDC. 23 and 24 are high beam fuses. There is also a low beam and a high beam relay in PDC as well. If no headlights work I would check for main switch or multifuction switch (wiper/high beam) since each light has its own fuse and relay.
