Question about 1997 Dodge Ram
I have an 2005 ram 2500, and my driver side door lock plunger is stuck in the lock position. I can't use the key to unlock the door either. The keyless entry doesnt work on the driver side also. All the doors work in the truck but the driver door. I think that it might be a cylinder in the handle. Is there a way to fix this problem or any advice on what to do before the dealer looking at it?
Most probably the lock actuator is frozen in down position. it could be your lock cylinder, but the actuator is the most common problem. You have to remove the inner trim panel to access it.
