Engine light is on cranks but no start.no smoke,code p0193 and p0251 came on been to many dealers noone knows why. It use to start good after 3 cranks, then if it sat won't start again.now wont start at all.

I had the same problem last year in my 04. unfortunately it turned out it was my pcm. i paid 90 bucks and the dealer uploaded a new program on it and it has ran better than before because dodge has an updated program they loaded. hope this helps

I have 2000 Dodge Ram Diesel Cummins engine.....i put the key in the ignition, turn it, hear the pump go on...but the engine will not crank!..battery is in great shape and FULLY charged...lights work and electrical works fine....when i turn the key, there is a light click where the fuse box is, a blue chip or fuse just clicks one when i turn the ignition. I tried starting the car with a screw driver touch both poles on the starter and the engine turns...so between the ignition on the wheel and the starter is where my problem is???...or somewhere in the computer??...any help or ideas?
Can't pinpoint codes at this time, but think P0251 is fuel injection pump related. Have you tried starting it with WD-40 sprayed in throttle body opening just to test if it will fire & run briefly?

I have a 2003 dodge ram 2500 5.9 diesel. It cranks fine but will not start. It will start with using starting fluid and does idle and run good, but just does not want to start on it's own.
