Question about 1999 GMC Suburban
I have had this issue for the last 4 days. Day one it rained hard. No garage. Started fine after about 6 hours like nothing ever happened. Day 2 it ran fin Day three is started after 2 tries. Day four (today) its not starting again but no rain. It tries to turn over but wont fully. I can hear the fuel pump running so I believe it is running fine. Help if you can. Thanks!
Unfortunately the fuel pump can still be bad. The pump has a check valve on it that wears out. The pump will continue to run but, struggles to supply enough fuel to start the engine. You can buy a fuel pressure test gauge from Auto Zone or that type of auto parts store and check the pressure. You can purchase a fuel pump from them too.
