Question about 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 Club Cab
How do you adjust them
The rocker arms must be tightend at a neutral position in the motors rotation to prevent valve to piston clearance problems.
on v8 turn the engine by hand until the v8 mark on the dampner lines up to the tdc or zero mark,do not rotate the engine until done
bolt down the rockers then allow 5 min for the hydraulic lifters to bleed down ,then torque the rocker bolts to 200 in-lbs as the rockerss are tightned make sure the pushrods seat properly in the lifter.
