Question about 2004 Ford F150

1 Answer

Thanks for the response, I forgot to mention we had already checked the Inertial switch and pressed it...After a few more different lil tests, we're now more concerned that it may be the Fuel Pump Driver Module, because the pump is receiving power, but after it starts its not sustaining it. So, Im still unsure what it may be...I hope it's not the computer...

There should be a fuel pump relay. Check that also.

Where is the inertia switch located on a 2007 suzuki forenza?

the Daewoo wonder wagon, in snake clothing.
and 6 engines, ill guess at gasoline engine.
so what makes you think there is one, (hope:? dreams, rumors?)
you have zero fuel pressure, is that it? did you check that first?
got spark?
run on test fuel?
yes then
do you have 12vdc top the pump cranking> yes/no,

there is no electric fuel switch, period, only the Std, fuel pump relay
that PCM operates only.

that leaves fuel line switches (inertial fuel valves, real name)
and the fuel diagram, shows, no such part.! it's not there, in USA car
is it a USA car?
so you are guessing.?
thanks for the goose chase. what a waste.
why not , post the symptoms and get real DIAGNOSTIC help
and avoid this goose chase.
what's bad is suzuki online parts , suck they have no online drawings.
do you want go Guess, or test.
do say.

I hit a speed bump my car doesn't want to start what I do

You likely hit the speed bump hard enough to trip the INERTIAL CUTOFF SWITCH, which is designed to turn your fuel pump off in the event of a collision. Usually, the Inertial Cutoff Switch is located in the trunk near the hinge on the driver side. Check your Owner's Manual for its location, and simply hit the reset button.

How to release fuel pressure without gauge

Locate the inertial safety switch (usually in the trunk, check your Owner's Manual) and disconnect the electrical plug connector from it. Once you have disconnected the plug from the inertial safety switch, attempt to start the car. It may run momentarily, then will stall out and not restart. When this happens, pressure has been released from your fuel system.
After you are done with whatever you are doing and want to re-pressurize the system, replace the plug in the inertial safety switch, turn the key switch to ON (not START), count to five, then return the switch to OFF, count five, then do the same thing again two more times. After you have cycled the ignition switch three times, the car should start with no problem

Dear Neena98,
The first thing to do is run a self-test. You can do this by turning the radio on and setting it to a local station. Push the #3 and #6 preset buttons until the unit goes into a speaker test. After it enters it,push the #1 button. This will run the on-board self test. If it comes up with a fail, press the TUNE> button to display the codes. Write them down. If you want to send them to me I will send you back the info. If not,you will want to pass them on to the technician that is working on it. I will look for your response, Thanks, Chuck.
