Question about 1999 Chevrolet Blazer
No noise or excitement, but indicator lamp just blinks on 4hi but doesnt engage. Never leaves 2WD.
It sounds like a bad encoder motor on the transfer case. This was a very common problem with the S series trucks. Unfortunatly it is not a cheap fix. You will be looking at around $450 - $550 to have it fixed, more if at a dealer. Hope this helps.
