Question about 2001 Ford Explorer Sport

1 Answer

Your experience? thanks for the reply re: my fuse shortage problem. However, because it is designed for a 15a fuse, putting a fuse in that is more than required, how would that affect not only that slot but the entire fuse box in terms of circuitry? Please inform.

First of all you have to find out what is all on that circuit; I do not recommend you replacing this with a fuse higher then called for!
do you have an amp or after market radio? if you do then disconnect this and see if the fuse doesn't blow

Number 6 fuse keeps blowing

Check the cabling behind the fuse. With the fuse still out, use an ohm meter (on the multimeter) and see there must be a shortage. Follow the cable with hands and eyes. And also measure the resistance when you have remover the accessories now connected. Don't put in any new fuse till you found the shortage.

I PUT AN AFTERMARKET RADIO WONT POWER UP.

If your Trailblazer does not have rear seat audio, check the 15A RADIO FUSE in the I/P fuse panel. If your Trailblazer has rear seat audio, check 15A RADIO FUSE 41 and 10A HVAC B FUSE 36 in the rear fuse block. You may have to use a different adapter to get the radio to work.

I lost my manual guide for 2002 ford explorer. Witch fuse belongs to the power windows?

It is fuse #17 in the fuse block under the driver side dash. That fuse controls the dome light, radio, and power windows in the 2002 Explorer. Nowhere n the manual does it tell you that the power windows are on that fuse. I am going from recent personal experience. It is a 15A mini fuse (blade type). Good luck!

1995 toyota camery is there a fuse or relay for the fuel pump

The fuel pump doesn't have a single designated fuse, it gets electrical input voltage from several sources, the fuses tart you need to check are the 7.5A ignition fuse, the 15A EFI, the 15A starter. There are two relays that are involved, the circuit opening relay located behind the glove box and the EFI main relay located in the fuse box under the hood, the most common problem when there is no fuel pressure is the fuel pump, check all the fuses and substitute the two relays to see if it solves the problem.

You have a short in one of your fuel injector wires. Check the wires from your fuel injectors for burns or cuts, look for bare wires grounding out on medal
