Get a firm grip on the breather box and give it a thug upwards, or you can thug on all the sides if it will suit you ,check to make sure that if the vaccum lines disconects from yhe breather box that you put them back in the corrrect order, now you have all the space to work, their is a wire clip that holds the bulb in the lamp that you need to remove then you are all set

The passenger side head head light goes out and the replacement lamp on the dash lights up. After a while the headlight comes back on. I've tried replacing the head light and still experience the same...

If you have an optional HID lighting kit, check/replace the ballast for the lights. If not, check for a wiring short in the harness somewhere.

How do i take my head lights out from both sides i have a 2001 volvo s60

Hi there,

Well you can please follow the below steps -
To remove a defective bulb:

a. Switch off the ignition.
b. Open the hood.
c. Remove the plastic cover over the bulb (1) by turning it counterclockwise.
d. Remove the connector (2).
e. Loosen the retaining spring (3) by first moving it to the right and then moving it down, out of the way.
f. Pull out the defective bulb. Note the position of the guide lug on the base of the bulb (4).

To install a new bulb:

a. Insert the new bulb, without touching the glass, with the guide lug upward (1). The bulb will only seat properly in this position.
b. Move the retaining spring up and push it slightly to the left until it seats properly (2).
c. Press the connector into place on the bulb (3).
d. Reinstall the plastic cover and turn it clockwise until it is correctly in place (4). "TOP" must be upward.

Good Luck!!

Thanks

Where is the fill port for refrigerant lacated on 2001 VolvoS60 2

fill port is on the radiator support (passenger side) To fill a volvo s60 you fill in on the high pressure side and most stores sell kits that only fill on low pressure. You might have to take it to a shop to get the a/c refilled.

2001 S60 Right Turn Signal Blinks Rapidly compared to Left Signal

Gregg -

I had the same problem. It was a defective lamp socket on the driver's left side, Volvo Part Number 8662985. Costs me $11.24 to replace the lamp socket, which included the bulb. If you've already replaced the bulbs yourself, you will find replacing the socket pretty easy, just use a thin flathead screwdriver to delicately pry off the metal retainer clip which holds the lamp socket in place, as you'll need to reinstall the existing metal retainer clip once you've replaced the lamp socket. Two minute job.
