01- Dodge Caravan AC Heater Control it only works on high none of the speeds work when I rotate the switch from low to high. Is this a swith problem or a motor problem?

Most likely neither. The most common cause is that an electrical device called the blower motor resister block, has failed. This device provides all the slower speeds. It is generally mounted in the HVAC [Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning] box, very close to the blower motor. FYI, we mechanics call the fan motor inside the cabin the blower motor. The electric fan motor behind the radiator is called the cooling fan motor.
If the resistor block is OK, then you have either a bad fan speed switch or a melted electrical connector at that switch. 95% of the time, the resister block is the problem.

Why is my heater not working in my ford focus. all fuses are fine?

If it doesn't blow at all, and/or you only feel a small amount of air coming through the vents (not forced), it may be the blower motor switch.

Sounds as though the fan motor could have failed (the noise), if you have fitted a new resistor pack and the fuse is OK, probe around with a multi-meter tracing the supply (12Volts to ground) through switch to the fan. The heater/aircon blower is fuse 64 - 30amp (if I dont mistake). If the motor itself is shorting out then this would blow this fuse. Try a 12v feed direct to the motor terminal and see if it works.

Hope this helps.

Why does the heater blower stay on when the car is turned off and the keys removed its a bmw

are you talking about the fan blower inside the car or the fans under the bonnet..? the fans under the bonnet may stay on for a while after the engine is switched off to prevent heatsoak. This is when the engine actually heats up more after switch off due to latent heat within the engine. The fans will remain on until the coolant temperature has fallen and stabilised, then the fans will stop. If the blower fan inside the car keeps running, this may be a feature on the car to assist with heat soak but I would think this is more like a faulty power relay or fan controller if the car has climate control..In this case, my advice would be to consult a qualified autoelectrician.

Fan not turning off

You say that the air con is not cold, i think the problem would be the aircon will need regasing, if the gas has escaped from the system, the temperature in the aircon system will always be warm so the fan will continue working attempting to cool it down. It will need checking for leaks, most companies that recharge the system check the whole system for leaks first before refilling the system. If its the engine cooling fan it could be the thermo switch that is faulty, the way to check that is when the engine is cold disconnect the wires from the switch and put an ohms meter across the swith it sould not give any reading, it will only show a reading when the engine reaches operating temparature. hope that helps. regards Richard
