may hav burn a shift solenoid--put car on a scanner--local parts place does it for free--nomerical codes will show and explained in a manual--but bfore replacin a part a more detailed scan shud b performed
Have you tried turning the key? :P but we will really need more info before we can help you. For all we know you turn the key and the pistons shoot out the exhaust. We need to know if the car turns over, clicks, lights work, power to the car, anything really will help us help you more
hi if the check engine light comes on i would start by changing fuel filter or fuel pump, however sometimes sensors dont trigger the check engine light and if it doesnt come on i would pull out the cam and crank sensors and clean them as they maybe dirty and causing the spark to die randomly
Shift it into neutral and try. If it starts, the neutral safety switch needs to be adjusted. Some have made a starter bypass mode using a relay feeding the started directly from the battery. Check out Subaru-svx.net
you know ...the only way of kleaning injector is to get-it to a garage and make it whit the pressure machine ...bit expenssive but real good ...no chemical can clean and unblock injector no mather what they say! those product can only keep them clean ...but im from those who bealive that less chemicals in a engine better it-is!
A noise like you are describing is not related to the rack and pinion steering. It is related to a cv joint. If you can find a parking lot that has no cars in it. turn in a tight circle to the right and listen then do the same to the left. You will hear the noise and can tell which one it is coming from.
