What should temperature run on 1995 wrangler?

Just replaced radiator and the guage reads high. It's just before red part of guage. It's 2.5 4 cyl automatic

Change the sensor. Check the electric cooling fans and Relays. Some fans have 2 speeds and may not kick into high speed.
The radiator operates more or less closely to the block temperature. A Laser thermometer would tell you what the operating temperature is.

Have a 95 jeep wrangler. 4 cyl engine. Oil pressure gauge is reading high. What might be causing this?


Oil pressure switch short on a 2.5 it is on the passenger side on the back of the engine block if the is oil on the switch replace it 99.9% of the time this is the problem cheep to replace and not hard to do.

Engine Temperature rises, all fluids are full, w/no leakes.


replace thermostat.feel top radiator hose and bottom radiator hose if they both should be hot 10-15 minutes.if not replace thermostat.

Won't start when hot.


its weird sensor failure possibly ... if your car has no computer or ecu i doubt the weather has much to do ... but i do not deny the problem...

Temperature guage shows hot


you need to make sure you have enough coolant in the radiator and oil in the car its better to take it in before you do some damage even that the engine is not hot its heating up inside very fast

1995 Plymouth Acclaim temperature guage needle goes crazy


Have someone wigle the wires on the plug that go to thew sensor which is locxaated on the housing for the thermostat. If the needle moves as they are wiggling then check wires. You may want to change this sensor anyway being he change the radiator and if it was gubked up then the sensor will not give a true reading. I hope this helps.
