Hi guys, with my Ford focus model 2000 1.4 engine, I have an electrical problem I guess.

The salon lights , and the wind shield heating is not working, also the alarm when I leave the lights on it used to beeb when I open the door now is not working as well.

Any one knows what it can be or how it can be fixed?? is it a fuse problem or it could be an electrical serious problem??

Ford Expidition 2001, rear wiper is not working, water sprays but no action

The washer and wiper are two separate circuits. At the central junction box check 15A fuse 14 which feeds the battery saver relay. At the battery junction box, check fuse 12 which feeds the rear wiper down and up relays. Rear wiper action is controlled by the generic electronic module (GEM). If the rear wiper switch is set to one of the intermittent positions, the battery saver relay closes to apply power to the wiper down and up relays. The GEM selects high/low or park operation. Note that there is an internal thermal breaker in the rear wiper motor so if everything else checks out, the motor may have overheated and opened that fuse. also, the rear wiper relay(s) could be defective

Rear wiper doesnt work on my 51 plate focus

Start by checking your fuses. Then put your ear against the wiper arm and have a friend turn it on. if you hear humming then the motor is bad and needs to be replaced. If all else fails check for voltage at the motor. there should be 3 wiree. One will have voltage all the time with the key on, one should be switched voltage and the last will be ground.

Cant get water through to the back windscreen wiper

Check for a broken wiper washer fluid hose leading to the rear nozzle.

Check that the wiper washer water pump works.

Check to make sure the switch is sending current to the washer pump motor.

Check that the rear nozzle is not clogged.

Rear wiper constantly regardless of switch position

If the switch itself feels just the same as it always has then the most likely fault is that the rear wiper motor located behind the panel in the tailgate has suffered a failure of the self-parking mechanism: it's what ensures that after you turn the wiper off, the motor keeps running until the wiper is back in the parked position.

There are two major parts to the way it works: a self parking switch which works off a cam located in the wiper motor, and a back-emf brake which overcomes the inertia of the mechanism.

The simplest fix will be to just replace the motor assembly. You can get one from a scrapyard, but won't know whether it's about to fail for the same wear-related reasons. Alternatively fit a new or remanufactured unit. You'll also find that a good automotive electrician can usually fix the original motor, but as it's nearly ten years old there may be other wear-related issues waiting to bite you on the bottom so I'd personally go for a remanufactured unit from a trustworthy supplier. Such units normally come with a minimum one year warranty. Anything with just a 30 or 90 day warranty has likely just been taken from a scrapped vehicle, cleaned and given a shiny coat of paint...

Rear wiper Ford Explorer 1998 won't work. Replaced motor and then found there was no power to connector at wiper motor. Fuses good both on fuse panel and power distribution box. Washer on wiper arm works.

Look for the fuse for the rear wiper motor is a 15 amp mini-fuse , in location # 8 of your POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX in the engine compartment. Check in the PD BOX for; - relay # 8 is the rear wiper down relay , and - relay # 10 is the rear wiper up relay .

Rear wiper does not work at all. front wipers work fine. rear washer works

1. check the fuse to the rear wiper motor
2. check for power to rear wiper motor at the motor (power wire going in to the wiper motor with rear wiper switch on)
If you have good fuses & have power going in to the rear wiper motor...
3. Pull old rear wiper motor and install a new rear wiper motor.
Thank you please drive thru......
