Most newer cars have programmable keys. This means the key has to be programmed to the car computer. Call the dealership to see if your car requires a programmable key. If it does you have two options: 1) tow you car to the dealership and have it programmed 2) find a locksmith who has the programming equipment capable of programming your new key. Please note that usually when you buy a new ignition cylinder that they come with a mechanical key which is just a metal key that does not have the computer chip in it and can not be programmed. You would then have to buy a new programmable key and have the key cut and programmed to work in the lock cylinder.

SOURCE: head light replacement

Hi, I have done this many times before for my 2006 Suzuki Forenza. You will need a 10 milimeter socket wrench for the top two nuts and a 8 milimeter socket wrench for the nut located directly behind the highbeam light. After removing the nuts carfully tilt the head light upward and wiggle out. After moving it halfway, disconnect the two wires connected to the housing. Be careful not to scratch the trim located around the grille. The bulb has a rubber gasket over it. Remove turning counter clockwise. Then, with your index finder slightly push the metal bracket holding the bulb in place down and then release. Install a new bulb making sure not to touch the glass part of the bulb. Reinstall the rubber gasket and carfully put the light housing back into the car. Line up all holes before attempting to replace the nuts. Do not tighten them too much. Only until they are slightly snug. This housing is plastic. So be carful. Then you are finally done. One thing to remember. It's usually better to replace both headlights at the same time for optimum performance. If cost is a factor, one can be done, but you will notice a difference in brightness.

SOURCE: would you say suzuki forenza 06 is a good car to buy?

They have been doing well and there problems are fewer than most. Sounds like you have a pretty good car. Have those trouble codes checked and repaired though so it does'nt cause problems down the road. Good luck.

SOURCE: 2005 suzuki forenza My car will not start up.

Check if the kill switch is engaged. Check for faulty starter solenoid or disconnected solenoid wire. Check for defective ignition switch. Check for defective starter motor.

SOURCE: 2006 Jeep Wrangler won't start

First, make sure you can turn the engine by hand. If you can't then the starter can't turn it either. Have someone else turn the key and look for the source of the click...may be a relay. Go over the starting circuit with a volt meter. Check for power at the starter main terminal and then with the key turned to "start" check for power at the trigger terminal on the starter. Check battery voltage and check relay operation.
You have a neutral safety switch on the transmission if its an automatic and a clutch switch if it's a stick. Check them as well. Make sure battery grounding on fender and block are also clean and secure.

How to remove a piece of key in the ignition of a 2006 suzuki forenza

it will be very difficult what you need to do is go to your local lock smith and see if they will sell you two key extractors they look like very small drill bits about as big around as a large safety pin. With small teeth on both side. Once you get them you will insert one one top of the broken side of the key and one on the bottom twist them around each other a couple of time and gently pull out the key. Hope This Is HELPFUL
