Question about 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck 2WD
I have a 2001 dodge ram 3500 5.9l i went down a sheet of ice and slammed on the breaks and my break light on the dash came on which i understand is part of the abs. but after reseting the truck by turning it off my brake light is still on i checked the fluid and its suppose to be right where it is i was wondering if anyone else has some trouble shooting ideas. i also tried seeing if there was any codes in the computer and everything checked out
This may also be a waring to let you know that you need new break pads this is easy to check
your disks will have grooves in them which is not good and you rick boiling your break fluid
if this dose not help then one of the sensors could be broken or the control unit could be busted
