A4 2.8 2000 no spark

We instal new motor on 2.8 audi a4 ,but we have no spark

    yes same engine size and code ,year,now the spark comes and goes

check the connections to the cam/ crank position sensors as you may have neglected to position one correctly. Reset the CPU to fix the corrupted program and ensure that the immobiliser id operational.

2004 audi a4 1.8 t misfiring flt code p0301 changed coils spark plug still showing code for cyl 1


try find out on the internet wats the problem with that code but take out the spark plug out of no 1 cilinder conected to the coil and turn over the engine and u will see if the spark plug will spark or not if is not sparking and the spark plugs and the coils are new may be from a wire or loose conection

Have you checked to see if there is spark at the plugs? If not, simply take out 1 plug (can be any one of them), connect the plug wire to it and just let the threads of the plug rest anywhere on the engine block. Have someone turn the motor over while you are looking at the gap on the spark plug. If your distributor is sending sufficient power, you should see a nice healthy spark! If no spark, then your problem is either bad coil, bad distributor, distributor cap, rotor, or ignition. But first things first, check to see if you are getting spark.

If you didn't remuved yet the old one just remuve all the spark plugs put your own marks on all the wheels with a marker or a dot of paint nad you should be ready to remuve the old belt and install the new one!

1988 audi 80 4cyl. no spark from coil,new coil fitted,coil lead


hi i have a coupe 1994 have same prob told by audi to replace the distributor as was common failt on audi's i have replaced new leads ,coil ,dissy cap, and arm ,still the same awaiting on distributor to see if this works hope this helps

did you check wires ? common problem spark plug wire failure
check if you get spark in wire, if you don't there is a problem within in the wire, unfortunately you need to buy new set

Why my 1993 audi 90 has no spark???


even if u didnt put it back together with the gears in there proper place u would still have a spark.just not a running motor. I would check for a loose groung wire
