Interior lights Recently the drivers pwr window motor switch went out. Had it replaced. Now the interior lights will not come on. Have checked all the fuses we could find.

  • Anonymous Jan 28, 2009

I have had this same problem in the past with the interior lights. I actually found that if you flip the switch above the rear view mirror, it will turn them back on (on the control panel with the rear window switch).

Which Relay/Fuse controls the power windows?

Did you check for battery voltage at the switch , with a volt meter before you replaced the main driver door switch ? Maybe you'll want to take this to pro ,instead of just replacing parts !

Why won't my interior lights and windows don't roll up

check the fuses in the fuse panel. make sure the interior light isn`t burnt out and needs replacing. also some light switches(for the headlight) have a switch built within it that if its turned too far one way it will shut of the interior light function. if this not the problem then check for power and ground at the interior light socket as there could be damaged wire. if the fuses are good and the power windows don`t work then you will have to check the window switch for power and grounds as the other windows are feed through the drivers switch. if you have power and grounds then you may need to replace the switch. if you have no power or grounds then you will have to check for a broken wire were the wires go from the door to the body of the car as they have a problem with breaking. there is also a power window relay in the relay box.

The Interior lights won't come on? Not working?

Short of checking fuses you really need wiring
diagrams to fairly quickly narrow done the problems

The window may be a broken window regulator ( not real
simple or fast)

Interior lights a driver or pass door switch ( fairly simple)

04 Chev Epica, will not start, no 4 ways no turn signals, no pwr mirrors, windows or door locks? Checked fuses, possible computer problem?

I had a similar problem recently with my Epica. During extremely cold weather I tried to use the windscreen washers which were frozen. This blew a fuse within the interior fuse box which controls the wipers, indicators etc. This also activated the flashing red security light on the display. The vehicle was still running but when I truned off the engine it refused to start again. Required to change the fuse (which from recollection is the 3rd down on the right - 10amp) before it would work again. Eventually blew again so replaced it with a 15amp fuse and been working fine ever since....
