Hands Free Link problem on my 2004 Acura TL

I used the Hands free Link and it just got stuck yesterday in the phone mode. It wont go back to the radio. It says that the phone is in Use and says "Phone" on my radio dial. I can turn the power on and off but it still says, "phone" and wont switch over. Even after turning the vehicle off.

    I have the same problem and can't seem to remedy it. The system does not prompt, nor can you get out of 'Phone' mode until the vehicle is turned off.

    I have the exact same problem. My car has to be turned off for sometime before I can hear the radio again. I really miss this feature and hope to find an answer soon!!!

Heard a similar complaint, try disconnecting the main battery leads. This should clear the head unit and allow you to return to default menu.

Here is your fuse box diagram, there are a few that cover seats, but as your issue is seat memory and mirrors, I think you have a Body Control Module communication issue, so you need a good auto-electrician, with a pro grade scan tool computer.

Hands free link stopped working on 2005 Acura tl
You might try disconnecting the battery and then pushing the on button on the radio. Hopefully you have a copy of the radio code nuber in case that is necessary. Then reconnect the car battery and set up your bluetooth link again.

We are talking about factory-installed Bluetooth, right? A 2004 model car would likely have had Bluetooth version 1 hardware/software installed at the factory. If it has not been updated ($$), I will be surprised if you can find any phone made in the past several years that will link to a 2004 model car. There were relatively few phones made in that standard.

Numbers stored in my Hands Free Link have been removed.Why/How?
make sure are using the same key that you used when you set the numbers they are numbered 1 and 2 . ( each key has its own settings stored) if you are then have the local dealer change the HFL unit we have had some problems with them in this model.
