make sure that the interior light has not been moved to the on position

check all spark plugs or replace them test coils by unpluging them one by one while engine is running to detect misfire

First is your car still under warranty? If not we are working on an 09 Tiguan that wants to sometimes wants to die out at stops.We are replacing the in tank fuel pump and fuel pump control module.

check the bulb it may be shorted out try new bulb and see if fuse stops poping if it does not the you have a shorted wire

Sell your Tiguan. I had the intake clean done last Nov for the 3rd time. Last week in the fast lane car lost power and I was nearly killed. Today the VW tech tells me its carbon buildup again. I am dumping the Tiguan and going back to Japan again. PS I always use "Premium" why I dont know.

u need to drive the car for a long trip at a constant speed to get out al the carben in ur exhaust sestym then the light wil go away its a tiguan thing,if it does not work u need to get it on a vag machine

You need new batteries in your remote.

I would imagine you could tell if a VW was imported or not by what units the speedo was in, km or mph.
