I hope your not a big man, go to where the pedal is remove the under dash (if it is still there) with a flashlight follow the clutch pedal to the actuator rod, 2 types of fixing. 1 remove the clip and pin, master cylinder will now clear the bulkhead. 2. remove nut and bolt. the rest as type 1. good luck.

There is nothing to loosen on the inside, just the lines and bolts on the outside. It just has a rod that fits between it and the pedal.

My mazda protege 1997 have a hard clutch to push,is there any solution to make more smooth to push the pedal?

If you have a cable operated clutch then replace the cable as it is binding up inside the case. If you have a hydraulic clutch system the replace the clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder as there is a problem with the rubbers in the units that have expanded from contaminants and are seizing up in the cylinders.

I have a 2003 protege dx.I had no problems till today I pepressed the clutch pedal and it went to floor and did not come up.After looking under hood I could see where a hydraulic hose on lower driver side...

U have a broken hose, replace the hose . Take the broken hose to a parts dealer. Refill the master cylinder that powers the hose, with the proper fluid. One end of the hose will screw into master cylinder.

I refilled my master cylinder wit break fluid and check it 5 minutes later and it was all gone, where could it gone and why?

It is either leaking in to the brake booster or at the brakes on the wheels through a caliper or wheel cylinder. Look for visual leaks under your vehicle and on the insides of your tires.

I was told the clutch on my 2003 mazda protege is hydrolic....how do I go about adjusting it

The whole idea behind the Hydralic Clutch is there is no adjustment. If the clutch is slipping then you need a new one.If you are having trouble getting it into gear then you may have a bad clutch master and or slave cylinder.Let me know if i can help.

How to adjust a hydraulic clutch mazda protege 01 2 0L? or how do i change it by my self if the adjustment does not work?

With a hydraulic clutch there is no adjustment as the slave cylinder does that automatically by using the fluid.

1989 Mazda mx-6=gear shift

This make and model has hydraulic clutch. Most likely clutch master or slave cylinder gone bad.Look to see if any fluid is leaking out of slave cylinder,or clutch master. There may not be any,but this would help decide witch one to replace if there was one leaking. This would be the problem, one or the other. If I can help, let me know.
