Question about 2000 Toyota Corolla
I just bought a 2000 corolla that had the engine replaced before i bought it. The car, and I assume the transmission, have around 208000 miles but the replacement engine only has 84000. It's been cold lately and the transmission has been sticking a little before going into first gear. After warming up for a bit, this seems to be less of a problem. Is the car low on transmission fluid? if so, where would i refill it?
You might also check whether some one has put gear oil which is thick when cold. i believe the trans calls for regular tranny fluid(the red stuff) the stuff used in automatic transmissions. this is not as thick when cold.
