why would water stop the injectors from firing ? there should be atleast some sort of backfire or noise or something should'nt when i crank it over ? if i just filled the tank , then should'nt the water be at the top of the tank ( unable to reach the fuel pump pickup at the bottom ?

Water introduced through the fuel system. Drain tank and lines, refill, and add HEET.

fuel is less dense than water. Water will go to the bottom.

Here's a school website with a simple explanation
and diagrams about why it does float on water:

you burned the fuel in the line, and then got to the water.

    Simple.

P.S. In some cases you can sue the gas station for repairs involved in introducing water to your car. Chances are there are more problems than just yours. Do a little more investigating and speak with the owner of the station.

Starter clicks but will not start 90 ej22 mat

If the starter clicks only once each time you turn the key, you need a starter. If it clicks mutiple times without changing the position of the key, your battery is lacking sufficient power to start the car. Try jumping the car before buying a starter. also make sure the engine is not locked up.

Hello. Replacing the clutch in a 4WD is a pretty big job. Dealerships charge it as a ten hour job. It could take from 8-12. Joe

93 subaru legacy starting problems

Probably a short or loose connection between battery and starter motor, or on either end of cables. Id look there before swapping out starter. On cold days you might put a heater under car for a few hours before using it,do this carefully as to avoid a car fire, or look into a block heater for your engine.

1995 Subaru Legacy will crank but won't run.

You can start by checking the fuel pump and testing it for current but it may also be in the starting system so check to see if the starting solenoid is working properly.
