Question about 2000 Dodge Durango
I have a 2000 Durango with a 5.9 magnum V8. If the battery is left hooked up it is completey dead by morning. Checking it over I found that it is drawing 12.8 volts and almost 6 amps. I noticed that when I unhook and rehook the battery there is a clicking noise behing the passenger air bag Battery is new. I worked with a multi tester and pulled each fuse individually and it made no difference on the voltage being drawn from the battery. I also unhooked the radio, rear wiper, and alternator completely with the same result.
That click noise is nothing! when you put neg post on then positive sparky? if so probably solenoid circuit ignition on starter will draw power but will "NOT " engaged until you crank Key!!
