With cop ignition, two wire ignition coil, ic control is in the pcm.
Voltage to the coil goes hot when you turn on the key, fuse protected. Your computer controls the coil ground circuit. I'm not sure about engine size?
This truck uses a distributor, so the job of crank - cam sensors is handled by the pick-up coil in the dist. Is the coil and module getting power from the EEC relay ?
