Question about 1997 Buick LeSabre
I have the above car..and right behind the air cleaner..left side fire wall is some sort of compressor/pump..the runs on after turning the car off, now it's turning itself on after sitting for a day or so!! It looks like it is is part of some vacuum system or something? It sounds like some sort of compressor
Can you tell me what it is....etc...
Thanks in advance for all of your help!
It is likely the compressor for the air ride leveling system ....... if it is running excessively you may have an airline or airbag leaking....or one of the sensors are telling the system that the vehicle is not level. this is probably not a repair for a novice but if you are handy you could find a manual that explains the system and it's components and hopefully some trouble shooting options
hope this helps.......thanks for choosing FIX YA!
