Question about 1998 Ford Contour
Turn signal burned out, replaced it and blower quit working. got parked and it wouldnt shift out of park.
Fuse #23 controls the turn signals, heater blower, reverse lamps, and the shift lever solenoid. There is a hole in the right side of the console where you can poke around with a ball point pen and unlock the shift lever. The fuse is located in a panel behind the glove box. I took my car to a dealer and had them change the fuse, but the ball point pen trick will save you a tow job.
