1998 BMW 528i, has amp, nav and cd player in the trunk. Radio sound quality very bad. CD quality very good, but when you turn up the volume it shouts down, no sound. It will come back later though. What do you think the problem is?
If ur radio is bad maybe your antener has come lose at rear of head unit... some systems also earth through the antener so this could cause it to shut off. Hope this helps.. Craig

This is because of the cs changer which is mounted in the boot of your cars , this happens when there is any vibration in the car or the wiring is shorted please get it checked .....................
