Question about 1989 Pontiac Sunbird

1989 pontiac sunbird will not start

Put antifreeze in the car, then the car set overnight in below freezing weather. Car would not start in the morning. Weather got warmer for a couple of days and let car set to thaw out then tried to start car, but still will not start. The car does have a good spark so it is getting current. What do I need to do? It still will not start. Have tried to unpug and replug wiring but not working. Is there an order to how I should unplug and replug wiring?

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

You probably have water in the gas.you will have to add "heet"to the gas and maybe even remove the air intake tube and try to start it using starting fluid.

I can't get to start up my car when the temperature is below freezing , Only in freezing weather my car wouldn't start up. Why?

Ur COOLANT needs to be replace!
Put a new coolant/antifreeze to ur cooling system, u could buy in any parts dealer and ask the concentrated one and mix it up 50% water!
That'll solve ur STARTiNG probs!

Pontiac sunbird 1993 2.0l that has a anti freeze leak from the hose at the bottom of the engine ,the one closest to the fire wall it is on the right side

This could be from the hose that goes from your engine to your heater. I don't know the layout of the sunbird but if you are sure that it is antifreeze that's what it should be. You'll need to get another hose and replace the bad one. Good luck!

89 Pontiac Sunbird stalls everytime I press the brake w/Lights on

Per your observations, I would suggest you check the fuel pump harness ground connection to the body. It should be located in the rear of the car and will have a several black wires with it screwed into the body.
I believe you are having a feed back problem caused by a loose or damaged ground connection.
You can also look at the fuel pump harness at the tank, find the black wire for the fuel pump ground, solder in a new ground wire and run it to the frame rail and screw it down. That will give you a good ground and the problem will go away.
Good luck and let me know how it goes.

HELPPPP!

There is a TSB on this issue the horn pad needs to be replaced. See Bulletin below.

Bulletin Number: 93-3-9
Reference Number: 333202
Publish Date: 5/93

Subject:
INTERMITTENT HORN BLOWING WHEN CAR IS COLD (REPLACE CONTACT ASSEMBLY/VINYL PAD)

Models Affected:
1989-93 SUNBIRD AND 1992-93 GRAND AM MODELS

CONDITION
Some owners of 1989-93 Sunbird vehicles and 1992-93 Grand Am vehicles may experience intermittent horn blowing when car is cold.
CAUSE:
This condition may be caused by excessive shrinkage of the contact assembly components when cold. This forces the horn pad contact plates together which activates the horn.

ok when a car overheats the metal parts inside the motor expand and that will temporary lock or try to freeze your engine, y will recomend you to try to crak it again when cold, and if this will not help try to jump start the car, if you had a weak battery when this happened most likelly you kill the battery, use a very good size jumper cables or try with a diferent batterie and then have your car diagnose for the overheating problem.
