Question about 1992 Pontiac Grand Am
How do you disable the rolling door locks,ie doors lock when vehiclee starts moving. 1992 grand am
Sounds like you are right. If it has ever been unlocked with a slim jim, it could have pulled it loose. You have to remove the door panel to get to it.

get in the car anyway possible, you probrally cant open the door from the inside either. Your gonna have to reef the door panel off and reach inside towards the post where the door latches to, and play with it and unlock it by hand. what it is is the spring loaded locking part in the assembly rust out and wears out so that the door wont unlock. I have the same problem with my car i disconnected the power locks in my car cause when people want to roll the window down they accidentally push the lock button. then im stuck entering and exiting out of the passenger door untill i play with it and unlock it. so me and you are gonna have to replace the latch assembly from inside the door.

You could always break a window! You could try and wedge one of the windows open enough to stick a coat hanger or something in to try and unlock the passenger side. Good luck
