Easy job, drain coolant down some with drain **** on bottom of radiator, follow upper radiator hose to where it connects to engine. Remove the housing the hose is connected to, remove old thermostat, being sure to notice which way it goes in, clean old gasket serfaces, intall new thermostat in the right direction install new gasket tighten securely and top of the coolant you drained.

I vaguely recall a bleeder on the intake or close to the top? Trapped air will make it overheat again.

Hi,

This is called the water pump weep passage which is a sign that your seal in the water pump has failed.

You need to replace the water pump.

Termostat how to repair

one rad hose goes to the water pump the other goes to the thermostat on top of the motor. undo the hose clamp and take off the hose that goes to the thermo . DO THIS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS COLD. have a small container handy to catch any coolant that may leak out. be sure to keep the hose up so coolant doesnt leak all over the ground.Once you take off the hose the thermostat should be right there. 2 bolts to take it out. fairly simple actually. replace with the new one and put hose back on. replace any coolant that might have leaked into your container. Hope this helps you Crystal. let me know. Thanks, Mark.

Replacing headlight in 1996 Chrysler Sebring JXI

piece of cake....
take off the two "star" bolts, one toward the center of the engine above the light assembly and the other toward the fender (it is very long). when you remove them both the entier assembly falls off into your hands and makes changing the bulbs much easier.
