I have a 97 Acura RL,engine light stays on even after O2 sensor is disconnected.I've changed out plugs& checked omhs on coils.Did a compression check on cylinders, 50-80.Do have oil on plugs, could that be the problem? Not sure what's nexts?

You said you changed the O2 sensors, which ones? I do believe that sensor 2 is the Catalyst efficiency monitor, it looks like an O2 but it's function is different. This sensor is behind the Catalytic converter, the O2 is in front. Bank one is the bank that # 1 cylinder is on, so the sensor that is defective is the 2nd sensor back on that sides exhaust pipe.

The only way, for shure is to go to computer diagnostics. 99% sure that this is some engine sensor, buy only diagnostics will tell who. (130,000 miles, hm lamda. it have only 150,000km live)

It sounds like your starter motor could be at fault.
Does it turn over slowly,or not at all with out the jum leads?
